UniLyf (the “App”) has a zero-tolerance policy for any content or behavior involving child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE). We strictly prohibit any such activity on our platform and take immediate action against violations.

Our Commitment to Child Safety UniLyf is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users. We strictly prohibit any activity that exploits, harms, or endangers minors.
2. Age Requirements
Age Requirements UniLyf is designed exclusively for verified university students, staff, and alumni.
Minimum Age: Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Verification: Access is restricted through institutional university email authentication.
No Child-Directed Features: UniLyf is not intended for individuals under 18.
Account Enforcement: Accounts belonging to users under 18 will be permanently removed.
3. Prohibited Content & Behavior

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
Any content that exploits or sexualizes minors
Grooming behavior or inappropriate contact attempts
Sharing personal information of minors without consent
Harassment, bullying, or threats targeting minors
Any activity promoting harm to children
4. Detection & Prevention Measures
Detection & Prevention We use a combination of automated systems and human moderation to detect and prevent violations, including:
Content moderation systems
Hash-matching technologies (such as PhotoDNA)
Behavior monitoring for suspicious activity
Regular platform safety audits
5. Reporting Violations
Reporting & Enforcement
Users can report harmful or suspicious content directly within the UniLyf app using in-app reporting features available on posts, profiles, and messages.
Once a report is submitted:
Our moderation team reviews the report promptly
Violating content is removed immediately
Accounts may be suspended or permanently banned
Severe cases are escalated to law enforcement
Users may also report concerns via email at support@unilyf.co.uk. Anonymous reporting is supported.
6. Law Enforcement Cooperation
Enforcement Actions UniLyf reserves the right to:
Remove any violating content
Suspend or permanently terminate accounts
Report illegal activities to relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
We maintain records of violations and fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies.
Law Enforcement Cooperation UniLyf fully cooperates with global law enforcement agencies in cases involving child safety and exploitation. We comply with all applicable child protection laws and assist in investigations when required.
Safety Awareness We promote user awareness through safety education, guidelines, and access to support resources.
If you encounter any violation of this policy, report it immediately.
